Qoro welcomed into the STFC QuBIC to enable Quantum Software Innovation

Harwell

QuBIC Announcement

We’re pleased to share that Qoro has joined the Quantum Business Incubation Centre (QuBIC), hosted by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The high bar for entry provides great signals for the Qoro product, research, business, and scaling plans submitted to receive this opportunity.

Based at STFC’s Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, the QuBIC programme supports high-potential quantum startups building the infrastructure of tomorrow. For Qoro, this marks an important step forward as we scale up the first-ever software controller for distributed quantum computing.

QuBIC Programme

The programme offers more than just lab access and funding—it provides strategic support for working at the intersection of HPC and quantum hardware. This is core to Qoro’s mission: making quantum computing scalable through orchestration, automation, and network integration. With STFC’s backing, we’ll be pushing the envelope on distributed algorithms, intelligent resource scheduling, and cloud-scale simulation workflows.

Our thanks to the QuBIC team for the warm welcome—and to the fellow cohort members building alongside us. We’re excited to be part of a community that’s serious about turning quantum ambition into quantum infrastructure.

Qoro will strive to maximise the benefits from the programme, and deliver new software orchestration capabilities to quantum computing in the UK.
