Qoro was formed by the intersection of traditional distributed computing and applications, with quantum computing and networking. Both fields will always be intertwined and thus the emergence of distributed quantum computing is here to scale the technology into the future.
Back in 1984, John Gage coined the phrase “The network is the computer” to describe the emergence of distributed software architectures using networks at Sun Microsystems. Further evolution of the concept followed with clustered systems, cloud computing, and currently various virtualisation overlay technologies. We are at that early stage with quantum computing, and Qoro is pioneering the way.
